Whenever I get the opportunity to add images to my ongoing series, Roadside Britain, it is often an unusual version of something that interests me and this scrapyard near Mundon in Essex was no exception.  Most people are familiar with scrapyards and despite their often ‘questionable’ status, they have always provided a valuable recycling asset – long before it was popular to do so.  I doubt I will ever see such a peculiar establishment again, but it won’t stop me looking, as that is part of the fun of pursuing the project.
