Whenever I am travelling around the country I cannot resist looking at the sea and I always love to see people enjoying themselves at the coast. Part of this fascination is observing people doing something they wouldn’t necessarily do somewhere else, but is completely acceptable once a stretch of water is introduced – a bit like this chap enjoying the sun and deciding to lie down on the pavement or the promenade as it is better known here at Southsea on Portsea Island.
