Although I rarely meet celebrities, like most photographers of people I do on occasion get asked to photograph famous people. It always helps if I admire the person I am photographing and it is very difficult to not be impressed by Olympic heptathlete Denise Lewis’s achievements.  This particular portrait was produced for the AA Magazine – http://www.theaamagazine.com – to accompany an interview with Denise detailing her various driving experiences. Denise was great fun and happy to accommodate my requests for a good photograph, including removing her jacket to present a more summery ‘feel’ for the current seasonal magazine issue – but photographed in late March!
