One of the great things I love about being a photographer is looking for one thing and then finding something completely different. The other week I was driving around the Tilbury area looking for some buildings I was interested in, which I did find but whilst driving further down the road and seeking a suitable place to turn round I noticed a group of chaps in a car park with fabulous scale model boats – actually yachts. Everyone was very friendly and happy to talk about their various water craft, but although not actually competing on the day it didn’t seem to stop them trying to beat each other round a series of buoys!
