This weekend saw the annual Dart 10K river swim at Totnes in Devon, where more than 800 swimmers brave the open water down river to Dittisham.  I had the great pleasure of photographing the event last year for Waitrose Weekend, as part of their regular ‘Weekending’ feature and it was fascinating to observe the enthusiasm, dedication and stamina needed by the competitors, but unfortunately I was unable to see if this particular lady was still smiling at the end!
