When walking along any street I am always looking up and was fascinated to see these windows above a shop on Oxford Street in London – strangely the normally ‘traditional’ Boots. Although perhaps more common in the City or a similar business district, such architecture can go unnoticed until plans are in place to refurbish the building (demolish) and someone discovers it was an early design by an eminent architect, resulting in a campaign to get it Listed. I just like it because it is different and different (variety) is good.
