There used to a be a time when the manufactured in England (Tamworth) three-wheeled Reliant Robin car was a common sight on British roads, but now out of production for over a decade means they are becoming a much lesser spotted vehicle. According to Wikipedia ‘Despite the car’s reputation for being unstable, a 2011 survey reported that Reliant Robin owners were statistically Britain’s safest drivers’ – not sure I would like to drive one on the M25, but a fascinating addition to my ‘Roadside Britain’ series.
