One of the joys of being a photographer is simply the pleasure of looking and discovering, so when I am either returning from an assignment or a meeting I am often on the lookout for interesting images, as part of my ‘Roadside Britain’ series. These found images observed when driving my car usually incorporate a portrait, but not exclusively and the decision to photograph someone or something is completely random – either I see it or I don’t add to the series and fortunately I did when travelling through Bristol.
