When returning to London on the train recently I noticed this peculiar piece of ‘lost property’ on the seat opposite and as a photographer I am always fascinated by observing something incongruous. The contrast of colours intrigued me and I would think the owner had a few minutes on the short train journey from Lymington to carefully craft the rolled-up cigarette, but on leaving Brockenhurst railway station will have been temporarily disappointed to discover they could not enjoy a smoke – but the good thing is I am sure they will have been able to quickly produce a duplicate!
