I am currently staying in Langton Matravers on the wonderful Isle of Purbeck in Dorset and nearby on the coast is the unusual Winspit, with the remains of a disused quarry cut into the cliffs and surrounding hills.  Apparently, the location has been featured in both Doctor Who and Blake’s 7 episodes.  This is the third time in a year we have stayed in the area, but it is always magical to see this place – and my niece has managed to bag the best viewpoint!
