Worthy Down Halt Railway Station near Winchester, is a long abandoned stop on a now disused railway line that was a second route serving the City. Despite growing up in Winchester and actually working on the nearby military camp for several years in my youth, it was only very recently that I became aware the stop existed at all. I like the way that nature is slowly reclaiming the site and although the level former track bed serves as a convenient path for walking, or horse riding as I observed, the platform itself is steadily being consumed by the surrounding vegetation.
